The name of the Tonda 1950 is a tribute to Michel Parmigiani, as he was born in this year; while its aesthetics are a return to the brand's fundamental visual identity. With its skeletonised movement, the watch gives pride of place to technical watchmaking skill in all its beauty. Skeletonising an ultra-thin movement is a masterful feat as, although its slim structure makes it elegant, it also makes it potentially fragile during the cutting process. This task was performed with infinite precision by the hands of master craftsmen, which contributes to the prestige of the PF707 movement. It owes its thickness of just 2.6 mm to the off-centered micro-rotor, which is incorporated directly into the main plate and provides it with 42 hours of autonomy.
