The TRIPLE SPLIT introduces a new dimension in measuring time. It is the world’s first mechanical split-seconds chronograph that allows multi-hour comparative time measurements. The white-gold model has a grey dial made of solid silver. Limited to 100.

This major technical accomplishment is indeed a breakthrough in split-second chronograph: conventionally, a rattrapante chronograph has superimposed hands that would split as the function is triggered with the pusher to stop the first hand while allowing the other to continue recording the time. Here in the Triple Split, not only the seconds and minutes can be compared but also the hours, with an accuracy of one-sixth of a second.

The A. Lange & Söhne Triple Split Chronograph is the first of its kind: a rattrapante chronograph capable of measuring and comparing the time of two concurrent events, of up to twelve hours' duration. The Triple Split is an extension of the capabilities of the existing Double Split, and represents a pretty major technical accomplishment (both are members of the Saxonia collection).
