Chanel

The first Chanel timepieces were introduced in 1987, and the company's Swiss watchmaking facilities are located in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Chanel has revolutionized the watchmaking industry by masterfully utilizing high-tech ceramic in its designs, turning it into a precious metal. From initial design to final assembly, every Chanel watch is created in-house by the Chanel team in the heart of the "watch vallley." Chanel's Swiss workshops ensure exceptional skill in gemsetting, which is evident in many of their watches. However, with the introduction of the Rétrograde Mystérieuse watch, the brand showcased all of Chanel's innovations in watchmaking, including a tourbillon, digital minutes display, retrograde minutes hand, 10-day power reserve, and retractable vertical crown. The J12 line really launched Chanel into the ladies watch catagory.
