Gerald Genta

Gérald Charles Genta was a Swiss watchmaker and artist who lived from 1 May 1931 to 17 August 2011. In addition to designing watches under his own brands, Gerald Genta and Gerald Charles, he is well-known for his collaborations on watch designs with other luxury watch producers, such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, IWC, and Omega. The most popular models of both houses to date, the Patek Phillipe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, were designed by Genta. He is considered to be among the most significant figures in horology history.
