The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms has been around for 50 years or so, and has been used mostly in titanium. However, this is the first time that titanium had been used for a Bathyscaphe model. The reason for that is because titanium is ideally for divers watches, with high resistance to shock, pressure, corrosion, light and low density.
