Description
The 1815 RATTRAPANTE is A. Lange & Söhne’s first pure split-seconds chronograph. It is based on classic design and construction concepts. The model version in HONEYGOLD features a black dial crafted from solid silver. Limited to 100 pieces. In celebration of 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte (counting from the establishment, by Ferdinand Adolph Lange, of his first workshop in 1845). It is part of a three-watch launch at Watches & Wonders Shanghai. The watch case (41.2mm x 12.6mm) is in Lange's Honeygold, which is a proprietary gold alloy that Lange says is "considerably harder than platinum"
The 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold is part of an important trilogy of watches for the brand, all executed in the
same proprietary gold alloy and all bearing the “Homage to F.A. Lange” appellation.
The 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold is the essence of the high-end split-seconds chronograph.
