Description

The Lange 1 Time Zone was launched in 2005 and is equipped with a movement crafted from untreated German silver, adorned with Glashütte ribbing. Its twin mainspring barrels offer a power reserve of three days when fully wound. Additionally, it includes a stop second mechanism that is activated when the crown is pulled out, along with a patented twin-disc mechanism for displaying the oversized date.

This model showcases two eccentric dials, each featuring its own independent day/night indicator. Through a user-friendly adjustment system, the wearer can choose which time zone to display on the larger of the two dials: home time, local time in a specific country, or any other time zone. The second time zone can also be easily selected via a push-button and a rotating city ring. With each press, both the city ring and the hands of the second time zone move forward simultaneously by one notch and one hour. The oversized date is automatically synchronized with the larger of the two dials.
