That "De Bethune" blue was discovered by accident by Denis Flageollet, who was attempting to heat treat titanium balance wheels to reduce instability and, in the process, found that when heated over 700º Celcius, titanium took on this almost cosmic color. That color has come back time and time again in different forms and dials, but the real standout is the brand's "Kind of Blue" releases, which, in person, are – nearly from top to bottom – one of the most strikingly blue watches you'll ever see.

De Bethune is revisiting its classics and reasserting its identity codes through the DB28 collection, a strongly identifiable timepiece endowed with the signature House style features and conveying its resolutely avant-garde vision of the watchmaking art.
