Description

Arguably one of the most esteemed names in the realm of independent watchmaking, H. Moser & Cie has made significant progress since 2005 when the Meylan family acquired the company. Since that time, they have expanded upon a minimalist aesthetic that appeals to collectors in search of something distinctive, much like the Venturer Small Seconds XL presented here. Drawing inspiration from the most classical era of watchmaking, spanning the 1920s to the 1960s, the Venturer collection harmonizes elegance with contemporary high-end horology and embodies Moser’s signature design ethos.

In line with that design philosophy, the Venturer Small Seconds XL showcases a fumé Midnight blue dial that transitions from a deep blue at the edges to a lighter hue at its center. Featuring a 43mm 18kt red gold case and coordinating dial elements, the Venturer Small Seconds XL is exquisitely refined, reminiscent of its mid-century inspirations, yet maintains a modern presence on the wrist due to its remarkable construction.

It is powered by the meticulously crafted cal. HMC 327 manual-wind movement, which offers a three-day power reserve visible through its sapphire crystal exhibition caseback; the Venturer XL Small Seconds is equally captivating from the back as it is from the front, striking a balance between half a century of watchmaking heritage and Moser’s distinctive design approach, while also catering to the preferences of contemporary watch collectors.
