Description

PILOT’S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH TOP GUN EDITION “LAKE TAHOE”
The white ceramic case of the Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Lake Tahoe” is inspired by white US Navy uniforms and the fascinating winter landscape around Lake Tahoe.

A subdued white with a mysterious shimmer: the ceramic color “Lake Tahoe” is inspired by the “Service Dress White” uniform of the US Navy, but also by the contrasting winter landscape with the snow-covered peaks around the largest freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada. The elite pilots from the TOP GUN flight school often fly over this mountainous landscape. White ceramic is emblematic of IWC's comprehensive ceramic expertise. The brand experimented with this colour as early as during the 1980s. The striking white ceramic case of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Lake Tahoe” is combined with a black dial and black hands, as well as white print and luminescence. The case back featuring the TOP GUN logo is made of titanium, while the pushers and crown are made of stainless steel. Inside the ceramic case with a diameter of 44 millimetres, the IWC-manufacture 69380 calibre is at work. Featuring a classic column-wheel design, the chronograph also features a day and date display at 3 o’clock. A soft-iron inner case shields the movement from the effects of magnetic fields. This TOP GUN chronograph is fitted on a white rubber strap with a distinctive embossing, whose color has been perfectly matched to the “Lake Tahoe” case.
