Following on from the success of the Extreme Lab, Jaeger introduced the Extreme Lab 2 in 2007. Extraordinarily both designs incorporate a movement which requires no lubrication and demonstrates the success of years of research and development.
The Extreme Lab 2 pays homage to one of the great achievements of Jaeger-LeCoultre - the 1958 Geophysic. The original Geophysic was produced for one year only in celebration of both the 125th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre and also of the world's first 'International Geophysical Year'. As with the original, the design of the Extreme Lab 2 is set to stand up to extreme conditions whilst advancing geophysical studies.
